REGINA VAN Helvert a Ghanaian actress, Television and Radio personality who was the second runner up for Miss Malaika 2012, has said her new personality has been challenging but rewarding.
According to her, after taken over the airwaves and screens it has been challenging especially getting sponsorship for events and programmes she is spearheading, she said “The challenges comes in when looking for sponsorship especially for the Girlcode campus tour, without sponsors we can’t hit our target. Another challenge has to do with my time but my team is amazing they help me manage it”
Speaking to the Business.com.gh , Van-Helvert explained that though her work is challenging but has simultaneously been very rewarding especially after earning two commercial deals in four months from top companies. She added that indeed hard work pays.
Van- Helvert is the host of both multiple award winning entertainment shows within the EIB Group, which are ‘Rythmzlive’ on GHOne TV and ‘Touch Down’ on Live FM. She is the face of both Black secret Makeup brand and ICONA (A UK brand that deals in home appliances)
According to her, her new personality is a manifestation of what women can do when given the opportunity, and she is not about slowing down on achieving greater heights. Regina, through ‘girlcode’ – a segment of Touch Down, that addresses issues facing the young adult lady especially on various campuses is bringing the ‘sexy’ of ‘girlpower’ to her audiences.
Her initiative is to empower and positively influence young women across the country and encouraged them to also use available tools like social media positively to market their products.
The TV/Radio personality is entreating all youth especially women to challenge themselves and do more than they can and fight for more opportunities in their endeavours.
